If you want to visit traditional neighbourhoods where an old way of life goes on largely unchanged and afterwards discover Bangkok’s surprisingly rural areas, then by bicycle is the best way to do it.

A bike ride to explore the back alleyways of Chinatown and experience the unique “street life” and its lively market of this colourful neighbourhood. Afterwards take a ferry across the river and discover traditional communities with their varied ways of life, temples, mosque, church and the King Mother’s Memorial Park. Then take a long-tail boat trip along the canals before continuing by bicycle through this very rural landscape to see fruit and herb plantations then stop for a local style snacks and drinks. Return by long-tail boat and ferry back to the heart of Bangkok. A 3-hour trip with biking only is available upon request.
