Day 1,  Arrive in Siem Reap  (-/-/-)

Upon arrival at the airport, meet your guide and transfer to your hotel. Begin your amazing journey with a full guided tour to visit to the Roluos Temple Complex, the area was once known as Hariharalaya and was the first capital of the Khmer Empire. All that remains of the city today are the ruins of several royal temples: Lolei, Preah Ku and Bakong.

Day 2,  Siem Reap, Angkor complex  (B/-/-)

Travel by road to Kbal Spean, commonly known as the Valley of a Thousand Lingas. It consists of a series of stone-carvings in and around the Stung Kbal Spean River. Enjoy your picnic lunch on site and continue to the temples of Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre, famous for its carvings and rose-colored sandstone walls. Make a last stop at Ta Prohm, one of Angkor’s most popular temples, beautifully embraced by the roots of an enormous fig tree.

Day 3,  Angkor by bike  (B/-/-)

There is no better way to explore the largest site of this ancient capital of the Khmer Empire than by bicycle.  Hop on your bike and take an easy ride to enter Angkor Thom by the West Gate. Cycle along to the South Gate and begin your mystical journey at Bayon Temple, known for its unique 54 towers sculpted with over 200 enigmatic smiling faces of Avolokitesvara.  Continue to Baphuon temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.  After lunch visit Angkor Wat, the most famous and best-preserved of all temples in the complex and then Bakheng Temple and enjoy the sunset from Bakheng Hill.  Cool down your evening at a bustling local pub. Enjoy cold drinks or shopping at the night market.

Day 4,  Siem Reap  (B/-/-)

Embark on an ox-cart ride through a Khmer village beneath palm trees and across rice fields. Take a boat trip to Tonle Sap Lake to discover floating villages and exotic wildlife. Continue to Puok, home to the famous Artisans d’Angkor Silk Farm. Here you will witness the entire silk production process, from the silk worms munching on the Mulberry leaves, to them spinning their cocoons, the cocoons being harvested and then turned into silk thread, women weaving and finally the beautiful finished silk products. Transfer to Siem Reap airport for departure to your next destination.
