Itinerary : This package offers soft adventure in Khao Yai National Park and also the chance top explore Isan and its Khmer Shrines‚ a fascinating and very different Thailand.

Day 1 - Bangkok to Khao Yai National park (-/L/-)

Departs from Bangkok to visit Jungle House Resort for the fun of an elephant ride through the forest. Continue to explore the national park by walking along the jungle trail from Pha Klay Mai to Heo Suwat Waterfalls. Take a night safari in the evening, watching the animals coming out to eat. Overnight at a nature resort in the foothills of the park.

Day 2 - Bangkok to Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) (B/-/-)

Early morning pick up from hotel for the 2 ½ hour drive to Korat, gateway to Isan, where the food, dialects and ways of life are different from the central region of Thailand. Afternoon trip to visit Pimai to see the ruins of this famous 10th-century Khmer shrine and then on to the archaeological site of Ban Prasat where human skeletons, ancient weapons, ornaments and other artefacts have been found in pits dating back to prehistoric times. Return to overnight in Korat and some free time to explore the city.

Day 3 – Korat (B/-/-)

Morning departure for Phnom Rung, the largest and the best restored Khmer temple complex in Thailand, and the Muang Tam sanctuary, a brick structure with 5 pagodas surrounded by laterite ponds. In the afternoon visit the Pak Tongchai Silk Center to observe the process of silk production.

Day 4 - Korat back to Bangkok (B/-/-)

Return to Bangkok with possibilities to stop en route at a local fruit market, grape, corn or sunflower plantations (depending on season), etc.

Termination of the tour.
