Day 1 - Bangkok to Kanchanaburi (-/L/D)
Early morning pick up from your hotel (approx 06.00-06.30) and depart for Kanchanaburi. After the 2-hour drive visit the Allied War Cemetery and the Bridge over the River Kwai. Then transfer to the River Kwai Village, a beautiful natural resort set on the Kwai Noi River, for lunch. Afternoon is at leisure in the beautiful surroundings of the River Kwai Valley or you may join our optional tour (not included in the price) to visit Muang Singha Historical Park, 800-year old Khmer ruins.
Day 2 - Kanchanaburi (B/L/D)
Morning excursion to visit the Lava Cave and explore its spectacular rock formations. After lunch take a boat trip to beautiful Saiyoke Yai Waterfall with time to enjoy swimming and the natural beauty of this national park. Return to the resort in the late afternoon. Overnight.
Day 3 - Kanchanaburi (B/L/-)
After breakfast drive to Lumsum for a train journey on the Death Railway, crossing over the bridge and a spectacular wooden viaduct built by the POWs. Drive back to the hotel for lunch and depart for Bangkok in the afternoon, arriving Bangkok early evening (approx 18.00-19.00). Termination of the tour.
