Set off after breakfast for the one-hour drive to the Rose Garden Riverside to explore the fascinating ‘Living the Thai Culture’ arts and crafts workshops. All the activities are spread around the village so visitors are free to roam around and try out any of the activities such as weaving, rice farming, bamboo dancing, Thai martial arts, garland making and vegetable carving. There is also the Thai wellness pavilion, pottery making, orchid growing, umbrella painting and traditional country cooking. An International buffet lunch will be served at the Vanda Pavilion. After lunch, visit the canal-side market where one can buy fresh local produce from the boats and souvenirs from the shops. There is also a range of homemade herbal products such as soaps, shampoo, balms and coconut oil the ingredients of which are either home grown or obtained locally. At 14.30 there will be the Elephant Demonstration and Thai Village Cultural Show, the longest running show in Thailand which has been performing for 38 years. It is a musical show depicting typical village life. Afterwards return to Bangkok.
