Day 1 - Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son     ( -/-/- )

Fly* from Chiang Mai to Mae Hong Son and transfer to hotel. After some refreshments, take a boat trip along the Pai River to the Karen village of Ban Nam Piengdin and return for overnight in Mae Hong Son.

Day 2 - Mae Hong Son   ( B/L/- )

Set off on a full-day trip through some of the most beautiful countryside in Mae Hong Son. First stop at the sacred Fish Cave, home to many giant carp, and then continue to Tham Lod, a large limestone cave with a wide stream running through it. This includes rafting across the stream to visit the second and third caverns as well. Return to Mae Hong Son in the afternoon.

Day 3 - Mae Hong Son to Chiang Mai     ( B/-/- )

Visit Wat Phra That Doi Kong Moo and enjoy magnificent views of the valley and the mountains stretching into Myanmar and the twin lake-side Burmese-style monasteries of Wat Jong Klang and Wat Jong Kham. Transfer to the airport for a flight* back to Chiang Mai.
