Thailand’s World Heritage Sites
Departure day : Daily

Applicable for : Minimum 2 persons
Itinerary : Programs take you not only to the famous UNESCO World Heritage Sites but also the ‘local touch’ & natural places like night markets‚ handicraft villages‚ beautiful hot spring and genuine elephant camp & its hospital.

Day1 - Bangkok (B/-/-)

Airport transfer to your hotel. Visit the splendid Grand Palace and the Royal Temple of the Emerald Buddha.

Day2 - Depart Bangkok for Ayutthaya (B/-/-)

Bang Pa-In, the former Royal Summer Palace. Continue to Ayutthaya, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a melting pot of culture and history. In the afternoon visit Wat Yai Chai Mongkol and Wat Phananchoeng and then continue to the Ayutthaya Historical Study Center, with exhibits reconstructing the city’s past. Take a leisurely evening stroll to see the lively local night market with its huge variety of foods and goods and then drive around the magnificent and beautifully illuminated ruins.

Day3 - Continue north to Kamphang Phet Historical Park (B/-/-)

Registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1991. After visiting the ruins, drive to Sukhothai for the night.

 Day4 - Visit World Heritage Site, Sukhothai then to Lampang (B/-/-)

Thailand first capital (AD 1250-1350) whose temple and Grand Palace ruins are

preserved as historically valuable monuments. Afterwards continue to the charming and historic town of Lampang to sit back and enjoy a leisurely horse-drawn carriage tour of the city’s historic sites and temples.

Day5 - Depart for Chiang Mai (B/-/-)

Along the way visit Wat Prathat Lampang Luang, one of the most sacred ancient temples in the north and then the Elephant Conservation Centre to see elephants

bathing and demonstrating their skills at hauling lumber. Tour the factory where paper is made from elephant dung, the elephant hospital, and see how young elephants are weaned from dependence on humans in preparation for their return to the wild. The centre also runs training courses for mahouts and anyone interested can join to learn basic elephant handling techniques.

Day6 - Morning tour to Doi Suthep Temple (B/-/-)

Spectacularly located atop a 1,000-meter mountain with splendid views in every

direction. Afterwards visit a handicraft village and continue to see the ruins of the ancient city of Wieng Kum Kam. Return to Chiang Mai with the afternoon and evening free.

Day7 - Chiang Mai (B/-/-)

Tour ends after breakfast.
