Day 1, Yangon (B/-/-) 

Transfer from own hotel to the airport for own morning flight to Yangon, flying time approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.  Arrive Yangon Airport. After clearing Immigration and Customs, you’ll be met and welcomed by your local guide and transfered to your hotel. Check-in and relax for a while. Afterwards, visit Sule Pagoda & City Hall, Karaweik Hall and Royal Barge, on the Kandawgyi Royal Lake, and Chaukhtatkyi, the Reclining Buddha. At sunset go to the great Shwedagon Pagoda, one of the most impressive Buddhist shrines in the world.

Overnight in Yangon.

 

Day 2, Yangon/Bagan (B/-/-)

After an early breakfast, transfer to the airport for own flight to Bagan. Arrive at Nyaung U airport. Transfer to hotel in Bagan and then explore the ancient pagodas and temples, including Mingalazedi, Gawdawpalin, Shwezigon, Kyansittha Umin, Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi, Htilominlo, Ananda, Thatbyinnyu and lacquerware workshops. Shwesandaw, Shinpin Thalyaung, Myinkaba village, Manuha, Nanpaya, and watch the fantastic sunset over the Ayeyarwaddy Rver from one of the major temples. Overnight in Bagan.

 

Day 3, Bagan/Mandalay/Amarapura (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel and then transfer to the airport for own flight to Mandalay. Arrive Mandalay Airport and proceed to Amarapura to see the famous Mahaghandayon Monastery where the monks learn and practice meditation. Then continue to U Bein wooden bridge and traditional silk & cotton weaving workshops. Drive to Mandalay and check-in. Afterwards visit Mahamyatmuni Pagoda, Kuthodaw Pagoda and Shwekyaung, the famed Zegyo Market and then on to Mandalay Hill for a  panoramic view of the sunset. Overnight in Mandalay.



Day 4, Mandalay/Heho/Pindaya/Inle Lake (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel and then own morning flight to Heho. Continue with a scenic drive to Pindaya to visit the Shwe U Min Pagoda (Golden Cave Pagoda) and lake. Also visit the local workshops to see the manufacture of Shan paper parasols. Continue to Nyaung Shwe to take a private boat transfer to the hotel in Inle Lake and overnight.

 

Day 5, Inle Lake (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel and then a full-day of excursion on the lake by long-tail boat. Visit Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, Nga Phe Chaung (Jumping cats monastery), the floating gardens, the houses and village life in Intha and Inn Paw Kone village for its silk weaving workshops. If the day coincides with the five-day market then the authentic atmosphere and the great variety of produce from the lake and the surrounding districts, with the crowds of ethnic-minority peoples in their traditional dress will be a memorable experience.  Overnight at Inle Lake.

 

 

Day 6, Inle Lake/Heho/Yangon (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel and then drive back to Heho for own morning flight to Yangon. Head downtown for shopping at Bogyoke (Scott) Market, Yangon’s largest and liveliest market. In the evening take a stroll around Chinatown.

Overnight in Yangon.

 

Day 7, Yangon (B/-/-)

Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to airport for own departure flight to next destination.
