Itinerary : Experience the highlights of Cambodia in just five days with an exciting trip by road connecting between the two main cities of Cambodia‚ allowing you to fully embrace the country’s fascinating culture‚ past and present and its main archaeological sites. Explore the bustling capital city of Phnom Penh‚ enjoy an unforgettable cruise on the Tonle Sap Lake and finally the Angkor complex with its towering monuments to Khmer craftsmanship.
 
 

Day 1,  Arrive in Phnom Penh  (-/-/-)  

Upon arrival a guide will accompany you to your hotel. Embark on a guided city tour of the capital to visit the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda and then continue to the Independence Monument and National Museum. At dusk walk along bank of the Mekong to see Phnom Penh by night.

Day 2,  Phnom Penh to Siem Reap  (B/-/-)

A road trip from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap with several visits en-route. Make a first stop at Tonle Sap River, visiting mosques, fishing villages and the handicraft center. Next arrive in Phnom Oudong to see its beautiful ancient temple and stupas. Try the sauteed spiders at Skuon town if you feel adventurous enough. Visit Kampong Thom town and an ancient stone bridge in Kampong Kdei before arriving in Siem Reap.

Day 3,  Siem Reap  (B/-/-)

A guided tour to visit Banteay Srei and Banteay Samre temples decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs. These two temples are among the most accomplished in Angkor. Continue to Ta Prohm which is famous for the giant fig tree roots that embrace it. Stroll along to Prasat Kravan, Srah Srang, Banteay Kdei, Thommanon and Chaosay Tevorda temples.

Day 4,  Angkor by bike  (B/-/-)

There is no better way to explore the largest ancient capital of Khmer Empire than by bicycle. Hop on your bike and take an easy ride to enter Angkor Thom by the West Gate. Cycle along to the South Gate and begin your mystical journey at Bayon Temple, known for its unique 54 towers sculpted with over 200 enigmatic smiling faces of Avolokitesvara. Continue to Baphuon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King. After lunch visit Angkor Wat, the most famous and best-preserved of all temples in the complex and later Bakheng Temple and enjoy the sunset from Bakheng Hill. Cool down your evening at a bustling local pub. Enjoy cold drinks or shopping at the night market.

Day 5, Siem Reap  (B/-/-)
Embark on a short boat trip to Tonle Sap Lake to discover floating villages and exotic wildlife before a transfer to the airport for departure to your next destination.
